- I know of at least one company which has been able to obtain A4000T
- motherboards without all the other stuff... they were paying
- about $900.00 for the motherboard w/no ram, no CPU card,
- no SCSI or IO miniboard. This is pretty expensive!
-
- BTW: the A400T package is sweet - a nice big case, SCSI that WORKS
- WELL built in, a bunch of software, a CPU stand, 1gb fujitsu SCSI,
- keyboard w/large 5-pin DIN (PC style) 4000->4000T style keyboard
- conversion cable, 23-15 video converter, etc. etc. Paid about $2800
- for this setup. It seems that AT has seen the light and is providing
- more nice Extras as part of the stock system.
-
- There has been a change to AmigaDos! If you are using an A4000T you
- *must* have the newer "workbench.library" 40.5 (05/24/93) or your
- workbench wont come up properly. This overrides the workbench.library
- in the Roms (which are 40.70, BTW)
-
- Happy Hacking!
